How to set up LAMP in Linux?

People from different regions that are newbie in Linux, have the problem with setting up LAMP stack in Linux. Here I am providing brief process, how to set up LAMP in Ubuntu.

Open Terminal, from Applications menu -> Accessories -> Terminal and follow below listed commands.

#sudo apt-get install apache2
#sudo apt-get install php5 libapache2-mod-php5
#sudo apt-get install mysql-server mysql-server
#sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin
#sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-auth-mysql php5-mysql
#sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

After that you can open browser and open http://localhost/ . If it shows Apache test page then it is successfully installed.

For MySQL open http://localhost/phpmyadmin/.

If you still have problems than ping me.
